Asociația Națională a Apicultorilor din Repuplica Moldova (ANARM)

The National Association of Beekeepers of the Republic of Moldova (ANARM) is a non-governmental, apolitical, non-profit public association, established at the initiative of legal entities - public associations - active in the field of beekeeping. The association was founded in 2006 with the aim of promoting and developing the beekeeping sector.

ANARM is the largest beekeeping association at the national level, its structure covering the entire country, through branches, units located in the main cities of the country.

The mission of the Association of Beekeepers is to make the most of the beekeeping potential of the Republic of Moldova by training beekeepers and developing beekeeping businesses, representing the interests of members and expanding the honey base.

Vision - The National Association of Beekeepers from the Republic of Moldova is the most representative organization in the beekeeping sector, it is sustainable and contributes to the development of profitable beekeeping businesses.

At the beginning of 2022, ANARM counted 29 member Territorial Associations from the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova, becoming the most representative Association in the sector. Recently, with the entry into force of Law no. 86 regarding non-commercial organizations ANARM adjusted its concept of organization of members. Thus, beekeeping companies, producers of honey and bee products (SRL, Coop, SA), beekeepers with legal entity status (GȚ, Individual Entrepreneur), as well as natural person beekeepers, can become ANARM members. The association represents and supports the interests of its members both at the level of the country's legislative and executive bodies and at the level of other central or territorial institutions.

Contact with beekeepers is made through the regional Bee Training and Consultancy Centers (CICA). The role of CICA is to facilitate the access of beekeepers from the regions of the Republic of Moldova to qualified assistance in the field to develop their capacities for starting a beekeeping business, as well as for the efficient management of a hive. Also, within the CICA, beekeepers can find out news from the beekeeping field and get advice on the opportunities to access European funds and other types of funds or technical assistance.

Through the implemented projects, ANARM trains and offers consultancy to thousands of beekeepers, lobbies for changes in the legislative framework and through its activity contributes daily to the development of the sector.
