Hellenic Hoteliers Federation / Panellinios Omospondia Xenodochon

The Panhellenic Hoteliers' Federation (POX) was founded in 1949 and is based in Athens. It is the trade union arm of the Hellenic Hotel and represents more than 60 Hotel Associations from all regions of the country.
The purposes of the Federation are to study, safeguard, claim and promote the common economic, social and professional interests of its members in the context of serving society.
In particular, the mission of the Panhellenic Hoteliers' Federation focuses, among others, on the following:
- Cultivating, assisting, developing and spreading the spirit of trade unionism in the country's hotel industry.
- The systematic study of the problems of the sector and the information of the members, for the most convenient collective claim and solution.
- Encouraging and promoting the cooperation of members, by organizing them into cooperatives, of any economic form, for the most effective defense and
promotion of their financial, professional and insurance interests.
– The development of a spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance among the members and ensuring conditions for the improvement of professional training and the rise of
their cultural and educational level.
- The cooperation of the members for the promotion of the hotel profession at a level worthy of its high mission and the traditions of Greek hospitality.
- The negotiation and conclusion with competent trade unions of workers of all kinds of Collective Labor Agreements, for employees employed in
hotels.
