ZALMED Lidia i Krzysztof Zalas s.c.

The Zalmed company was founded in 2000 as a civil law partnership of two shareholders, Lidia Zalas and Krzysztof Zalas, using the rich personal experience of their founders gained during over ten years of work at Hewlett-Packard in the Medical Devices Department, and then in the ranks of its successor, Agilent Technologies. Initially, it started cooperation with the latter, and after it was taken over by Philips, it continued cooperation with its Medical Devices Department from the very beginning of this acquisition, i.e. from November 2000. Since 2008, when Philips decided to change the sales model and create an indirect distribution channel for medical equipment, our company has been authorized by the manufacturer to distribute ultrasound devices, cardiomonitors and holter ECG systems.

In 2020, we started cooperation with Biomedix, which is the sole representative of the manufacturer Acteon for Poland. The European company Acteon is known on the dental market for products such as: 3D X-Mind trium and X-Mind Unity tomographs, point X-ray scanners, radio navigation sensors or imaging plate reading stations.

In 2022, we started cooperation with Angionica - a national manufacturer of a unique device called Angioexpert, which uses the FMSF fluorescence technique to assess vascular circulation in a non-invasive way. This device has great research potential in such branches of medicine as: cardiology, diabetology, neurology, sports medicine, rehabilitation.
