Danish Maritime / Danske Maritime

Danske Maritime is an industry and employers' association for shipyards, equipment manufacturers, suppliers of maritime products and services as well as designers of ships and equipment. We work to ensure our members the best possible business conditions both regionally, nationally and internationally. The organization focuses on factors that can contribute to improving the conditions for the Danish maritime industry, including better access to financing, more equal conditions of competition, increased quality in public tenders, more focus on education and qualified labor for the industry as well as increased efforts in research and development with a focus on maritime technology and service. We engage in dialogue with politicians and civil servants and take them on delegation trips, and we participate in projects both nationally, in the EU and internationally in order to gain and expand our understanding and knowledge of the profession's needs and abilities.
