BPV Consult GmbH was founded in 2002 with its headquarters in Koblenz. Further branches can be found in Erfurt and Hamburg.

The company emerged from the freelance consulting work of Dr. Christoph Zimmer, which he started on January 1st, 1999. Since then, the shares in the company have remained unchanged and completely in the family of Dr. Christopher Zimmer.

BPV Consult GmbH initially worked exclusively in its primary business field of public transport. With the additional expansion to the second business area of procurement, BPV Consult GmbH has been supporting all public clients in the tendering and procurement of supplies and services since 2007 - not only in the transport sector .

Since 2010, BPV Consult GmbH has been successfully implementing innovations for the areas of transport and procurement in its third business area, digitization .

With the subsidiary BPV Systec GmbH , solutions and services are mainly implemented for the private sector , primarily in the areas of transport, digitization or procurement.
