The German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV) eV is the umbrella organization of the savings banks finance group. / The German Savings Banks Association (DSGV - German Savings Banks and Giro Association) is the umbrella organization of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. The DSGV organizes decision-making within the savings bank finance group and its market and operational strategy orientation - from product development and processing, through risk management and overall bank control to card and payment transactions and holistic consulting approaches for all customer segments. The DSGV also manages the security reserve of the state banks and giro centers as well as the security fund of the state building societies, which are part of the institutional security system recognized under the Deposit Insurance Act.
