Klimabündnis Tirol part of Climate Alliance network

We connect more than 2,000 communities in more than 25 countries in Europe with indigenous organizations in South America. The common goals are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and preserve the Amazon rainforest.

In Austria, the Climate Alliance is the largest municipal climate protection network . Included are:

• Cities & communities
• establishments
• Educational institutions
• Parishes & Dioceses
• all nine federal states and state capitals

The core of the Climate Alliance's work is service and awareness-raising, networking and further training as well as the implementation of projects and campaigns in the areas of climate protection, climate justice and climate change adaptation.
