About
SGPP Indonesia is the first policy school in Indonesia to offer full-time Master's program in English, linking policy-teaching in Indonesia and the region to innovative public affairs schools around the world. It offers multidisciplinary training and research in the theory and practice of modern policymaking, preparing its students for active and reflective engagement in local, national, and global governance. To make sure that its training is internationally valid as well as regionally focused, the SGPP’s faculty draws equally on distinguished foreign and Indonesian academics and lecturers. In addition, the SGPP-Indonesia has created a strong field research component in its Master programs which will complement the coursework by teaching students the methods of empirical field research aimed at producing facts, empirically based research monographs, and empirically informed theories of the middle range on current public policy issues in Indonesia and in the wider region.
