Cooperativa sociale Azzurra

Azzurra Società Cooperativa Sociale ONLUS was born in Darfo Boario Terme in 1983, from the meeting of social workers and some parents of people with disabilities who perceived the need to respond in a more structured way to the needs of their family members. In that year the Social Educational Center opened in Darfo (BS), as the first service provided to the community.
Over the course of almost 40 years, the Cooperativa Azzurra has had the opportunity to care for people with disabilities and to support their families through projects aimed at improving the quality of life. The Cooperative provides multiple services: Day Center for Disabled People, Social Educational Centre, Social and Health Community, home and school assistance on a personal basis. In the last period the Cooperative has also explored the topic of specific learning disabilities, giving life to the Idea Azzurra project, which deals with minors.
