Water Aid For Afghanistan

The Water Aid For Afghanistan (WAFA) Is A National Non-Profit, Non-Governmental, Nonpolitical, And Humanitarian Organization Working In Afghanistan Since 1994. The Organization Was Registered As NGO With The Ministry Of Planning And Later On Registered With Number 377 Dated 1st February, 2006 At The Department Of NGOs With Ministry Of Economy The Islamic Republic Of Afghanistan.

The Organization Is Professionally Managed By A Group Of Committed And Young Professional Afghans Having Years Of Experience With Governmental And Nongovernmental Organization In And Outside Of Afghanistan. Besides, WAFA Has Been Working As An Implementing Partner Of Ministry Of Education And Has Working Protocols For Education And Accelerated Education Programs, WAFA Works In Close Cooperation With The Ministry Of Social Affairs, Martyrs And Disabled. WAFA Also Has Close Cooperation With The Ministry Of Justice In Connection With The Children In Conflict With The Law.

The Organization Has A Regional Coverage Through Undertaking Various Educational (Community Based Education (CBE), Teacher Training, Non Formal, Catch-Up, Civic Education) Awareness Raising (Legal Rights, Advocacy, Women Rights, Support To Electoral Process, Elimination Of Violation Against Women, Human Rights, Social Services Programs, Water And Agricultural Programs, Electricity Programs, Projects In Different Sectors For Afghan Refugees/Returnees And Local Communities In Afghanistan.
