VisBlue

Visblue is a private development company and spin-off from Aarhus University, from Denmark, and Porto University, from Portugal, established in 2014. In late 2014, Borean Innovation (www.borean.dk/en/) made an investment in Visblue and the team behind the company.The development of low-cost, durable electricity storage solutions are essential for renewable energy systems. VisBlue aims at producing and installing cost-effective local storage systems of photovoltaic electricity in residential buildings. The energy storage systems are based in redox flow battery technology, where the electrical power and storage capacity can be scaled independently, allowing customized and tailored solutions.The company has a multidisciplinary team with competencies in redox flow batteries technology, power electronics and systems production.
