The Selection Center
of Béchanne
Located in the heart of Bresse, the Béchanne Selection Center aims to genetically select and conserve local French poultry breeds.
Created in 1956 on the initiative of the chambers of agriculture of Ain and Saône-et-Loire, with the aim of rationalizing the selection of the famous Bresse chicken, the Center has for around twenty years put its expertise serving hardy breeds.
Our high level of requirements allows us to offer our customers animals of impeccable health quality.
Well known in the world of French poultry farming, we contribute to maintaining local areas by combining them with a product appreciated by gourmets.
Our selection programs are all developed in close collaboration with the Union of French Poultry and Aquaculture Breeders, according to precise selection criteria.
