Suomen Sydanliito Ry

Suomen Sydänliitto ry – Finlands Hjärtförbundet rf (shorter Sydänliitto ) was founded on February 24, 1955, initially under the name Sydäntautiyhdistys – Hjärtsjukdosföreningen ry. On June 21, 1956, the association changed its name to Sydäntautiliitto – Hjärtsjukdomsförbundet ry. Since the beginning of 2000, the organization has been known as Suomen Sydänliitto ry. The Heart Association is the oldest heart organization in Europe and the second oldest in the world. The general secretary of the Finnish Heart Association is Marjaana Lahti-Koski. The chairman of the board is Panu Routila .
