As Auditors of the Court of Accounts, we perform a critical function in the democratic administration of our country. At the core and source of democratic governments, the Assembly has the budget right. Effective use of the Assembly's budget is only possible through an effective SAI audit. The sole source of accurate, impartial and reliable information on the availability and use of public resources as envisaged by the Assembly is the Court of Accounts, which oversees public administrations on behalf of the Assembly. We are proud of being members of the Court of Accounts Audit profession that performs such an important function, and we are aware of its responsibility.
