Company Energy Partner (EP) was founded in 2009 in orderto provide professional engineering and consulting services in energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy sources (RES). EP is one of the first and leading private engineering and consulting company specializing in EE and RES in Kazakhstan.

Working together with international consultants of Kazakhstan Sustainable Energy Financing Facility (KAZSEFF) - program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, EP acquired the experience in conducting energy audits and energy efficiency assessments in various companies and industry sectors. EP uses the available intellectual resources and specialized know-how in order to provide the most effective solutions for clients and partners.

Due to the fact that the work in the sphere of energy saving and energy efficiency is relatively new to organizations of Kazakhstan, many of them who are dealing with this sphere of activities (energy efficiency) have to start essentially from scratch. Availability of highly skilled specialists, park of instruments, software, but the lack of a suitable methodology and practical experience lead to bad-quality work and discredit the very idea of conducting an energy audit in the eyes of customers.

Company EP is the initiator and co-founder of the Kazakhstan Association of Energy auditors which was established in March 2012. The main aims of Kazakhstan Association of Energy auditors are:

• development and implementation of internal standards and rules of professional activities of members of the Association in the sphere of energy survey (energy audit);

• assistance in advanced training of specialists in the sphere of energy audit;

• assistance to the authorities in developing the regulatory-legal framework in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency;

• ensuring the participation of the Association in the implementation of state policy in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency;

• promoting the involvement of scientific, technical and engineering capabilities and latest achievements in the field of energy saving and energy efficiency in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
