Sepca Foundation

SEPCA Foundation was founded as an NGO by Paul Bwiruke Bizimana, Chris Theobald and Sergio Echeverría to address the issues of poverty and lack of employment opportunities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through an established network comprising local officials, NGO representatives, business people and on-the-ground volunteers, SEPCA Foundation coordinates projects, consultation and small commerce based initiatives in the Congo.

Our mission is to empower the local people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through education, training and creation of new marketing opportunities. We aim to rebuild the hope and prospects of local Congolese people through sustainable development.

War has plagued the region for years. Rape and recruitment of children to rebel armies is common. There have been over 10 million deaths, countless villages destroyed and severe infrastructure breakdown. Despite this, the locals remain strong and positive for a brighter future.

We bet on a better future for people, because we know they have the courage to change their lives. They just need a helping hand.
