The mission and activities of IESE – Institute of Social and Economic Studies have been established over almost a decade and a half of existence around a specialized range of areas of study, research and provision of services that seek to combine the evaluation of programs and public policies with the technical basis of interventions of an economic and social nature, in numerous sectoral and territorial domains where the development of public policy instruments has contributed to the valorization of human potential and the promotion of innovation and regional development.

In the construction and enrichment of its matrix of technical resources, IESE has sought to articulate multidisciplinary scientific skills (economics, sociology, educational sciences, geography, …) with curricular experiences that combine academic activity (teaching and research) with the experimentalism of professional basis, in the fields of management and others. This active and gradually strengthened articulation, based on postgraduate training processes stimulated and developed by IESE's technical staff, has contributed to consolidating skills aimed at the rigorous technical foundation (construction and deepening of evaluation references and other methodological dimensions) of analyzes (diagnosis and prospective), mediated by the permanent concern to contribute to their practical application and usefulness.
