Perkins Cinders, Inc.

Back in 1970 Kay Perkins started his company with only a backhoe. A few years later he was offered an opportunity to buy what we now call our Show Low Pit, Kay wanted a challenge so he took it on. Now 50 years later Perkins Cinders is still going strong with the addition of sand and gravel pits as well as a Hot Plant & Concrete Batch Plant. Even though Kay has since retired, his two sons, Brandon and Dusty keep the company thriving! Much like Kay, they take on challenges every day and continue to help Perkins Cinders grow with this Mountain we all call home.

Perkins Cinders Inc. is an Arizona based corporation that has been in business since 1971. The company has grown over the years to include mining of sand and gravel as well as cinders with pits located in Navajo and Apache County. Our quarries are located in Show Low, Springerville, Taylor and Linden. Also the product line has been enhanced with the acquisition of a concrete batch plant in Show Low and hot mix plant in Linden. These facilities crush and operate year-round.
