École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture Lyon (ENSA)

École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture (ENSA), is located in Vaulx-en-Velin, on the same campus as ENTPE. It was designed by Françoise-Hélène Jourda and Gilles Perraudin in 1987, for which they received the special mention of the Équerre d'argent prize (the same year). ENSAL trains state-certified architects, architects who are project managers in their own name, doctors of architecture and issues diplomas co-accredited by the Ministry of National Education and Higher Education and Research – MENESR, and by the Ministry of Culture and Communication – MCC. The establishment is part of the strong dynamics of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, the Lyon Metropolis and the University of Lyon.
