Le Fonds de coopération de la jeunesse et de l’éducation populaire (FONJEP)

Fonjep is an organization co-managed by the State, local authorities and associations since 1964. A true resource center, it is a lever for the development of associative youth and popular education projects. In particular, it manages more than 6,615 "Fonjep posts", a system that contributes to the employment of trained permanent staff within associations. Nourished by its territorial roots, by the multiple perspectives offered by co-management and by its experience, Fonjep is constantly monitoring social developments and new needs in terms of youth and popular education policy. With its partners, it analyzes these trends, experiments and develops new avenues of action to meet social needs.
