Research Center for Rural Population & Health

Center for Population and Rural Development Studies is a part of THAI BINH UNIVERSITY OF PHARMACY.

Functions and tasks of
the Center for Environment created by two centers, are still taking over the functions and tasks of these two Centers.
- Develop examples of environmental sanitation and clean water supply in rural areas to draw experiences and expand them to other places.
- Acquire environmental treatment techniques of UNICEF and the world, applied research into rural Vietnam.
- Organize training and supplementation on rural environmental sanitation for commune, district and provincial health workers, teaching staff at secondary schools, medical universities and other staffs. related to environmental sanitation.
- Propagation and dissemination of documents on environmental sanitation in rural areas. To cooperate in scientific research on environmental sanitation with domestic and foreign agencies and organizations in service of primary health care under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
- Basic research on Population, Family Planning and Health in rural areas.
- Develop a model of community intervention to control population and health care of the people.
- To study and apply domestic and foreign scientific and technological achievements in the field of population and health into Vietnam's reality.
- Information on population, population control, health and health care for rural people.
- Cooperate with other organizations and individuals inside and outside the population, family planning and rural health.
