DELTA - Development Education Learning & Training Association

Development Education Learning & Training Association (DELTA) is an Afghan legally registered with Ministry of Commerce under License No. 177 is a national, non-governmental, non-profitable, non-political, non-partisan and non-sectarian humanitarian organization committed to the development, welfare and humanitarian assistance of Afghansinthe country.

The organization is established in 2002 and got legal permission from the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The organization has been registered with the Ministry of Plan, Ministry of Economy and with all concerned departments in southern region of the country. The organization is also registered with UNOPS, UNWFP, IOM, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNAMA, UNDP, UNOCHA, UNFAO, SWABAC, WFP, HANDICAP International and HOPE Worldwide in Kandahar province.

DELTA is a local Afghan organization that is committed to the development of local community economy and building local community capacity for sustainable development and is established based on the reason to take part in rehabilitation of the country. The major field of DELTA activities is Food Distribution, Capacity Building, Construction and reconstruction of Schools, Clinics, Bridges, Rehabilitation of Roads, Cleaning of canals and drainages, Water supply and digging of water wells.
