Ervik Havfiske AS

Ervik Havfiske AS is the "operating company" in what is often called Norway's largest liner owner group. Operations are managed from the head office in Stadlandet, as well as that we have office bases both in the Falkland Islands, New Zealand, Uruguay, Gibraltar and Reading outside London.

Ervik Gruppa has an ownership interest through subsidiaries and associated companies. Other vessels have various cooperation agreements with them.

Ervik Havfiske mainly operates line fishing for cod, haddock, ling, tusk and catfish in the North Atlantic.

Line fishing is an environmentally friendly way of fishing, selective with regard to species and size, and the catch is of high quality. It minimizes the impact on the seabed, and you get a lower consumption of fuel.

Responsible fishing means catching the right fish at the right age, in optimal condition and as efficiently as possible. It also means ensuring the safety of the crew and minimal impact on the environment. Our modern and advanced fishing vessels operate in sea areas over large parts of the world. Ervik Gruppa is active in environmental labeling of fisheries in both the north and south. This work goes on continuously.

Through our collaboration with French and British companies, we are involved in the advanced and demanding fishery for toothfish, where a lot of Norwegian expertise is linked to the development and implementation of the fishery. International inspectors on board follow the fisheries and ensure that an important resource is managed correctly, and that vulnerable nature is taken care of.

Ervik Havfiske offers services in the operation of autoline boats to external players. This can include both control and follow-up of certificates, supervision, rehearsals, crew follow-up, sale of fish, workshop, wages and accounts.
