Prietena Mea

Prietena mea is today a symbol of tolerance, acceptance and social inclusion. The story begins in 2017 with a young mother of only 22 years old who wakes up to the fact that she has a child diagnosed with Down Syndrome a few days after birth. The multitude of wrong information and stereotypes transmitted including by medical workers led Ludmila Adamciuc, the founder of this project, to actively communicate about the specifics of this condition, promoting equality, diversity, tolerance and acceptance.

"Prietena mea" through all her activities, including the editing of this Alphabet but of Equality, wants to give children, young people and adults with Down Syndrome the necessary support for a harmonious growth in a welcoming society.
