Advanced Composite materials are often used for weight reduction (light-weighting). A|2|O’s technologies focus on reducing the energy required to manufacture, operate and maintain components (and systems) that can benefit from these reductions. This is achieved by removing the barriers to adopting advanced material components by lowering production costs, increasing manufacturing throughput, and highlighting component damage in service. In addition, A|2|O’s component monitoring predictive maintenance system can be applied to components manufactured from conventional materials such as metal and its alloys.
