National Association of Independent Italian Musical Bands

ANBIMA is the Association to which Bands, Philharmonic Societies, Choral Groups, Folk Groups, Musical and Instrumental Groups constituted and active on the national territory belong. ANBIMA is present at:

• National

• Regional

• Provincial.

ANBIMA bases its action on the membership of:

• Basic Units (Companies governed by their own statutes and regulations)

• Members

The National President of ANBIMA is Maestro Giampaolo LAZZERI.

The purposes of the ANBIMA statute include:

• the protection of the moral, artistic, cultural and social interests of the associated Basic Units

• the care and promotion of initiatives aimed at artistic and organizational improvement and the development of musical associations;

• the promotion of training, updating and qualification of young people, members, directors and managers of the associated Basic Unit, together with studies and research in order to pursue the diffusion and increase of musical culture;

• the organization of events, gatherings, exhibitions and competitions, both at national and international level.
