Centre for the Training and Education Research – CAFRE of the University of Pisa

CAFRE - Interdepartmental Center for Upgrading, Training and Educational Research - of the University of Pisa has as its institutional aims:

to promote, develop and coordinate activities in the field of in-service teacher training on disciplinary and general subjects, such as nutrition education, health, legality, active citizenship, use of technologies;
to promote, develop and coordinate activities in the field of technical and professional updating of personnel of public and private bodies and companies;
to promote, develop and coordinate research activities on general or disciplinary issues related to educational training and professional development;
maintain contacts with similar institutions in other Italian and foreign universities and with national and international training and consultancy agencies, in order to exchange ideas and experiences, and to identify and undertake training and research activities of common interest.
