About

Located in the Lualaba province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM) is the second largest cobalt producer and a leading copper producer in the world, operating since 2009. CMOC Group Limited owns 80% equity in TFM.

As a conscientious operator, TFM is committed to sustainable mining. Through the responsible and safe production of copper cathode and cobalt hydroxide, TFM provides metals vital to many industries including transportation, computers, construction, and emerging technologies.

Our operations are located in Fungurume, in the Lualaba province, northwest of the city of Lubumbashi, about 180 km in the southeastern part of the DRC. Our concession covers approximately 1,600 square kilometers.
