The Elementary School of Obstetric Art (SEAO) was founded in 1996 by 9 midwives who decided to come together with the aim of providing midwives with adequate physiological training .

Another goal is to ensure that this figure is not seen only as a silent assistant, but as a modern midwife capable of giving women professional and psychological support.

The publications of the associated publishing house aim to fill the gap in specific scientific literature that midwives have always had to live with.
