FIL-Center began with a vision to create a more just and inclusive society where every individual is treated with dignity and equality, regardless of gender identity or expression. Over the years, we have grown into a passionate team of grassroots activists committed to driving positive change for Trans and Feminist communities in Uganda with a unique multi-issue and multi-strategy approach, the organization is distinctive for being Black trans-led, comprised of passionate grassroots activists. Its primary focus revolves around advocating for Transgenders and advancing Feminist causes.
