About
The Foundation for Accreditation and Care Development (FADA) is a non-profit organization created in 2006 with the mission of promoting the improvement of quality and safety in health and social services through the application of external evaluation mechanisms such as accreditation, certification, external evaluation of quality indicators and other complementary activities.
To achieve this mission, the FADA establishes alliances with different interest groups, among which the alliance with the Joint Commission International to jointly promote accreditation activities. FADA also participates in research projects together with the most relevant accrediting bodies of other European countries, in order to contribute to the development of assessment systems and quality of care.
