Khairun University

Khairun University (UNKHAIR) is a State University in North Maluku Province, which was founded on 15 August 1964 and received recognition with the issuance of Decree of the Minister of Higher Education and Science No. 100/B/SWT/1965 dated 15 February 1965 concerning the status and position of Unkhair and then its status was changed to State University based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 18 of 2004 dated 17 March 2004.

As time goes by, UNKHAIR plays an active role in developing science, technology and art through organizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Currently, UNKHAIR continues to improve itself and collaborate with various institutions both at home and abroad in an effort to realize the vision and mission it carries. UNKHAIR's development from time to time continues to experience significant improvements. This can be seen from the increase in interest in new student admissions, the increase in accredited study programs, and the increase in the number of institutional collaborations.
