The Museum of Applied Arts is a national museum Budapest IX. district , Üllői út 33-37. under no. The Museum of Applied Arts is the number one collection institution and exhibition venue for Hungarian and international, old and contemporary applied arts and design in Hungary. Its rich collection makes it one of the most important museums of this profile in Europe, and some of its collections, such as art nouveau glass and ceramic objects, or the Islamic-Turkish carpet collection, are world-class. The museum preserves the only surviving noble treasury from medieval and early modern Hungary, the Esterházy family .
