NCCDH - National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health

The six National Collaborating Centres (NCCs) for Public Health promote and improve the use of scientific research and other knowledge to strengthen public health practices and policies in Canada.

We are one of six National Collaborating Centres of Public Health in Canada. The NCCDH provides the Canadian public health community with knowledge and resources to take action on the social determinants of health, to influence interrelated determinants and advance health equity. We work with the public health field to move knowledge into action—in practice, in policy and in decision making—to achieve societal improvements that result in health for all.
