The Poverty Eradication Coalition Organization [PECO] is a non-governmental indigenous organization formed in Ethiopia in September 2020 G.C. PECO was formed with the objectives  of supporting the improvement of Food Security and Livelihood, Gender mainstreaming and gender based violence, Education, Health and Nutrition, Wash and Sanitation, Orphans and Widows, Rehabilitation and Disability, Peace Building and Youths empowerment. The organization was formed to facilitate responsive strategies to address the gaps Identified in the community that affect the life of women and girls and make all equal by providing equal opportunities for all. Regardless of sex, social or economic status, color, ethnic background, race etc.

Girls and the women are the most vulnerable section of the community due to lack of access to education and others spearheaded by social norms which are discriminatory. Therefore, providing adult education to girls and women serves as the better way to address the problem of Education in social and economic activities plays a fundamental role in enhancing decision-making capacity. Therefore, increased women and girls participation in decision-making could be in ensured if their comprehensive capacity is improved by integration within social and economic development. Women and girls participation in food security and livelihood activities is crucial for them to get rid of all constraints to economic development and health related factors that affect their health and body integrity.

Education inequality between men and women have been observed as the first point among the major problems hindering women from occupying decision-making positions leading to invisibility of gender balance at all sectors in many regional states. Therefore, women and girls should be actively encouraged to priorities education in order to qualify for reasonable mainstreaming process in the country. Men control over resources continuous to be a major obstacles and center to imposing negative consequences on gender balance in the political, social and economic empowerment for women to sustain their life and put them in the risk of economic dependency.
