Flevo Campus

Flevo Campus is a knowledge and action lab that connects science, education, entrepreneurship and policy with the aim of finding solutions for (urban) food issues. Flevo Campus brings together students, researchers and companies in Almere to research and test how we can change and innovate the food supply in growing cities. Flevo Campus is a partnership between Aeres Hogeschool Almere, Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS Institute), the Municipality of Almere and the Province of Flevoland. The city itself, but also the surrounding region plays an important role in this. Almere, with its location at the intersection of the Amsterdam metropolitan region on the west side and the agricultural production landscape of Flevoland on the east and north side, is the place where this collaboration can be well demonstrated but especially tested. Flevo Campus is the link between research, education and entrepreneurship, in order to arrive at new smart developments.
