Swat Participatory Council (SPC)

Swat Participatory Council (SPC) is a registered civil society organization working inSwat and Malakand Region for the last seven years. SPC in accordance with its mission completed different projects with respective government line agencies, national and international development partners’ i.e USAID, UNDP, GIZ, WFP and SDPI and Prince Clause Fund for culture and Development.

 The organization carried out different activities and undertook special initiatives. These were directed to address issues related to Governance, environment, political empowerment, disaster management, health, dialogue, Peace Building, conservation of natural heritage and conducted Surveys as well.  Seminars and workshops were organized and international days were observed. The organization signed MOUs with different government line agencies to implement programs. The organization leads a network of community based organizations in Swat district and has evolved a social capital comprising community activists in all over the Malakand division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

SPC facilitated relief process in response to recent conflict induced crisis and continues to support rehabilitation process.
