About
Our foundation - Information Society Development Foundation (FRSI) was established in 2008 by the Polish - American Freedom Foundation (PAFF) based in the USA - one of the largest grant-giving organizations operating in Poland, with an iron capital of over USD 250 million. The first task of FRSI was the implementation of the National Program for the Development of Libraries - a joint venture between PAFF and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as part of the international initiative "Global Libraries". Thanks to this, we have acquired unique work experience in thousands of local communities throughout Poland, in the area of social change, using new technologies. On this experience, we build the further development of our organization, in line with our values, which are quality, innovation and partnership.
