Phillips Ecology is a small independent ecological consultancy based in Hampshire and Norfolk. Located between Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton and on the north west coast of Norfolk, we provide reliable, fast and cost-effective ecological support for planning applications across Southern, Eastern and Central England.

With many years experience of the Planning System and Decision Making Process from a background working in the public sector with and for Local Planning Authorities (LPAs), LPA Ecologists and Planning Officers; we are well versed to support your planning application with the ecological surveys, assessments and reports which are pragmatic, proportionate and reasonable for your project.

Drawing on 10+ years of local knowledge, we undertake all habitat and protected species survey, assessment and mitigation work necessary to assist you with a successful application including preliminary ecological appraisals, extended phase 1 ecological surveys, bat surveys, dormouse surveys, great crested newt surveys, reptile surveys and badger surveys.
