Intisar Foundation

Intisar Foundation is a non-governmental organization focused on providing refugee women with psychological care. We are currently operational in Lebanon and work directly with refugee women through non-conventional psychotherapies. Our programs include drama therapy.
Our founder Sheikha Intisar AlSabah is a Kuwaiti philanthropist who, following dire refugee crisis in the Middle East, decided that something needs to be done.
We believe women are the cornerstone of households and communities, and helping refugee women is the first step in rebuilding the rest of society. We focused our efforts to reduce adverse effects of war like depression and anxiety and instilling happiness and hope.
Our mission is to help refugee women heal & grow.
We are proud to be the first organization in the Middle East fully dedicated to providing psychological support and growth to refugee women.
