Mount Mission

Mount Mission is an independent national civil society organization established to fight inequality, injustice, and poverty. It is legally founded in Ethiopia with registration number 7259 and accorded legal personality. Mount Mission aspires to achieve a world in which all people-children, women, and men - attain the right to survival, protection, development, and have a say in the decisions that affect their lives.

Mount Mission is a children, women, and environment centered non-profit organization aspire to do away with inequality, poverty, and injustice in the world, and Ethiopia in particular. Our works are founded in the commitment to the universal human rights principles.

The main objective of the Mount Mission is to save lives, lessen suffering, protect the human dignity of those impacted by both natural disasters and man-made catastrophes, and lessen the effect of poverty on those who are most in need.

Mount Mission has acquiescence to operate in the regional states of Afar, Benishangul-Gumuz, Harar, Oromia, Sidama, and SNNPR (all of which were previously members), as well as in the city administrations of Addis Ababa and Dire-Dawa.
