About

Founded in 2012 by Julien Pierre (then a player for ASM Clermont Auvergne and the French rugby team) and Pascal Damois (then the new president of the Parc Animalier d'Auvergne), Play for Nature was first created as an association (La Passerelle), then as an endowment fund (La Passerelle Conservation) in 2015. As an endowment fund, Play for Nature has general interest recognition and is therefore eligible for donations and legacies + donors (individuals and companies) can benefit from tax advantages. Play for Nature has become an expert in researching and evaluating in situ conservation programs but also in creative fundraising in the world of zoological parks and in organizing atypical events, including very quickly sporting events (kids trail, Snow Leopard Trail and Challenge). In 2022, La Passerelle Conservation therefore becomes Play for Nature. In addition to the initial programs with our Zoological Park partners, Play for Nature aims to develop expertise in supporting conservation programs that link sports and biodiversity. This could, of course, take the form of financial support, but also technical and operational assistance in organizing sporting events.
