Each resident is assigned a guardian through Stichting Nidos, and those required to leave the Netherlands receive assistance from the Repatriation and Departure Service (DT&V).

• This temporary regional reception centre opened in July 2023, offering accommodation for up to 300 refugees. It serves both status holders (refugees granted asylum) awaiting permanent housing and asylum seekers with high chances of being granted asylum. The facility is set to operate until February 2027, after which the building will be demolished for urban redevelopment.
• Crisis Emergency Reception
• Due to national asylum centre overcrowding, Zwolle has provided crisis emergency reception in various temporary locations, including Hotel Lumen and previously in ships at the Prinses Margriethaven and the IJsselhallen. These facilities offer short-term accommodation with limited amenities and are part of a regional effort to alleviate pressure on central reception centres like Ter Apel.
