Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology - BIPT

Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology (BIPT) is a regular institution of higher education, co-constructed by the Central Government and Beijing Municipal Government, and administrated mainly by Beijing Municipal Government. BIPT was established in 1978. With the proceeding of China's reform and opening-up, it has developed into a regular institution of higher learning, which is capable of fitting in with both the demands of China's core industries such as petrol-chemical industry and industry of energy equipments and that of the economic and social development of Beijing. With great strength in school-running, it enjoys high reputation among universities and colleges administrated by Beijing Municipality. BIPT takes engineering as its key discipline while exploring the inter-penetrating and coordinative development of disciplines of science, engineering, economics, management and arts.
