Vodafone Egypt Foundation

Vodafone Egypt Foundation for Community Development was established in 2003 as the first non-profit organization in the communications and information technology sector. Since its establishment, the foundation has aimed to support the Egyptian community in many areas, most notably education and health. The foundation develops and supports the community in cooperation and partnership with major institutions. The foundation has many initiatives in the field of education, which aim to develop the education system in Egypt. It launched the "Taalimi" platform, which aims to provide digital educational content for students, teachers and parents, in addition to other initiatives aimed at improving the standard of living for illiterate people, empowering university graduates and preparing them for the labor market. In the field of health, the Foundation launched the “From Heart to Heart” initiative, which aims to reduce the risk of rheumatic heart disease in children between the ages of 12 and 15. The Vodafone Egypt Foundation for Community Development is also keen to provide solutions to support projects that contribute to improving the health of children and families in small and remote villages in Egypt, by relying on mobile applications, which enhances the Foundation’s presence as an effective entity for an Egyptian society that communicates for the sake of good.
