Coalition for Action on 1325

Coalition for Action on 1325 (CoACT) is an Alliance of 45 member organizations of which 27 are local women’s community- based organizations.
The members of CoACT are organizations that work on gender equality and women empowerment, ranging from conflict prevention, peace building, and mediation, promoting social accountability and inclusive governance.

We are an alliance of 63  women led and youth led organisations working to increase benefits of the UN Scecurity Council Resolution 1325 for women and communities and implement the triple nexus of women peace and security, humanitaran action , climate change and development.
