Nexus Ethiopia Member

Nexus Ethiopia is a national non-governmental and non-profit making humanitarian organization established and registered as a National NGO as per the new CSO’s proclamation 1113/19 with the registration number of 6225. Nexus Ethiopia is mandated to operate in all regions and City Administration in Ethiopia.

Nexus Ethiopia is engaged in the triple/HDP nexus pillars namely Humanitarian, Development and Peace Building. As part of its programming, Nexus Ethiopia works to integrate the HDP pillars across its programmes and projects to achieve sustainable impacts in the lives of the targeted populations.  The theory of change of the organization evolves on the three HRP pillars. It will implement nexus programmes such as Development – Peace Nexus, Humanitarian Development-Nexus, Humanitarian- Peace Nexus. Nexus Ethiopia also integrate the three pillars and implements Triple Nexus Progammes.

On the other hand, Nexus Ethiopia works to strengthen the organizational and operational capacity of National NGOs to enhance their engagement in the humanitarian- Development – Peace interventions and champion the localization of aid agenda. Under the three HDP pillars, Nexus Ethiopia is engaged on Health, Nutrition, Education, Protection, WASH, ES/NFI, Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), peace building and Agriculture & food security. NNGOs capacity development and coordination is mainstreamed across the interventions.
