Since its foundation in 1998 NTB has been characterized by very fast and successful growth.
In only a few years, NTB has developed into one of the most important European container terminals with an annual handling volume of more than 3 million TEU (20 ‘units). More than 860 employees are working hard to serve around 45 ships a week, 360 days a year, 24h per day at the NTB facilities. The NTB terminal is seen as an important hub in Northern Europe. NTB connects Bremerhaven with more than 130 ports worldwide.
