About

Amphibian and Reptile Conservation is a national wildlife charity (Registered Charity 1130188) committed to conserving the UK's amphibians and reptiles and saving the disappearing habitats on which they depend.

Amphibian and Reptile Conservation staff are mainly based at our head office in Bournemouth, Dorset. We also have regional staff based in Cumbria, Nottingham, Scotland, Shropshire, Surrey and Wales. We cover a range of activities to conserve frogs, toads, newts, snakes and lizards.

Our current activities include managing over eighty nature reserves, working with schools, researching and monitoring species' populations in the wild, and working with other wildlife organisations, and the public, to influence wildlife legislation relating to amphibians and reptiles.
