Acción por los Niños / Action for Children

Acción por los Niños is a Peruvian non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on promoting the rights and development of children and adolescents in Peru. Founded in 1988 and officially registered in 1998, it operates primarily within Peru, implementing programs in areas such as Lima and Satipo .

While its primary operations are national, Acción por los Niños also engages in regional initiatives across Latin America. For instance, it leads a project in seven Latin American countries to assess public health systems' responses to adolescents' sexual and reproductive health needs . Additionally, the organization collaborates with international partners like Save the Children to influence public policies and strengthen child protection systems.
